Robert Lasser, MD, MBA is the Chief Medical Officer of MedDay. He is a trained geriatric psychiatrist and clinical neuroscientist, with over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. After early training in biochemisty at Dartmouth College, and obtaining his MD degree at Boston University, he trained at MGH McLean, an adult psychiatry residency program at Harvard University, and the US National Institutes of Health (Fellowship) before joining the industry in 1997. Since that time, Mr Lasser has held leadership roles across neuroscience clinical development, medical affairs, and global commercialization at multiple Top-10 pharmaceutical manufacturers (Novartis, Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Shire), while authoring over 75 scientific publications in schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease, late-life depression, and ADHD. Dr Lasser added formal business training, an MBA at The Wharton School, in 2006.
